Add more webcams for Timelapse

Ahm, the Subject says all...  ;D

Is it thinkable to add webcams or at least the files (located on the mac or on a network drive or in the internet) from other/more webcams to create timelapse movies out of this files?
I ask this because I maintain in sum 4 webcams - and it is an attractive task to produce a timelapse from all of them.  ::)
