Dear MacWeather folks,
Big news today. I just got an email from Weather Underground. They have been purchased by the parent company that gives us the Weather Channel. There is a press release here: http://www.wunderground.com/about/pr/news.asp (http://www.wunderground.com/about/pr/news.asp)
This is another case of mixed feelings . . . . Weather Underground has been limping along for a long as I've been a member. Certainly a new owner is likely to give it some much needed attention . . .
On the other hand . . . what will the Weather Channel do with all of our data and what say will we have in this? ???
Oh well, gotta grin and bear it somehow.
