From LWC to WeatherCat
« on: January 17, 2018, 12:09:24 PM »
Hi all,
the 10 year anniversary of using software made by Stu is coming for me. On January 25th 2008 19:39:57 I discovered a weather program called LightsoftWeatherCenter. I recall that I downloaded a test version and an entry in a german speaking forum from me was:
Quote
(Translation sounds like: People, take a look at this program: LWC! I found it via Version Tracker. My WS2300 was recognized at once and loaded data from it. Maybe an alternative to WeatherTracker - I'll see.)

And since then I use it, I love it, I have done the translation to German.
Weather data in my WeatherCat database is available since 1st of March 2008.
I will drink a beer (or maybe more than one) on 25th of January 2018 and another one on March 1st 2018.  [cheers1]

Thanks a lot, Stu:

? for all your development to this extraordinary piece of software
? for all your patience with us users and especially with me during localisation process (hope your patience lasts further...  ;) )
? for 10 years of excellent collaboration

Thank you very much,
*DANKE*

I've got me beat by a year and 10 months.  I started using WeatherCat in October 2009.

However, I'm more than happily join you in thanking Stu!

WeatherCat  [WCSmall] is by far the coolest cat around!   8)  Stu you rock!   [rock]

Cheers, Edouard  [cheers1]

Very well stated Reinhard! And I agree.

Stu, thanks for sharing your passion with the rest of us by providing the very best weather software available for those of us with both a PWS and a Mac.

Hi LWC to WC users
I have been using Stu's software from the beginning I know of only 2 others that have been using it a little longer the me.

His software has out performed any other weather software for a mac out there

We owe him everything for all the time he has spent developing this software

All I can say is Thank You Stu

cheers
