Title: Include solar radiation in webcam data?

Dear WeatherCat feature junkies,

I was reviewing my webcam in preparation for the solar eclipse when it occurred to me that it would be really neat to have the solar radiation displayed on the webcam images during a solar eclipse.  Is that enough of an incentive to add it there?

What does you'all think? ???

Absolutely. The next total solar eclipse for North America will occur on August 12, 2045 and will come right over my weather station. Let's get ready.

Actually, the next Total Solar Eclipse is April 8, 2024, and it will be much closer to my area than the Aug 19 version. In fact, if you were in Carbondale, IL, you would get two Total Solar Eclipses in less than two years! The second one is actually a few miles south of that town, but this years will have the longest Totality in the Carbondale area. They call these events a "triple hit"; 2 Totals and one longest!

Yes, and I will be right in the path of totality for that one. Better start looking for some glasses. Party at my house with moon pies for all!
