Much of our "strangeness" comes from the State (and municipal) laws. I'm sure that Utah and most western States have many laws specifically about water that those in more rainy areas would find unusual, if not strange.
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system
